WHAT HAPPENED

Nasrallah Abu Siyam, a 19-year-old Philadelphia-born U.S. citizen, was killed on February 18, 2026, when a group of roughly 30 Israeli settlers, reportedly from the Neve Erez outpost, attacked the Palestinian village of Mukhmas, northeast of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank. According to witnesses cited by the Associated Press, he had intervened to defend a farmer under settler attack when a settler shot him in the thigh at close range, severing his femoral artery; witnesses also said he was beaten, and he died en route to a hospital in Ramallah. U.S. senators led by Mark Warner pressed the administration for an investigation, and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro asked the Department of Justice to investigate his death.

TESTIMONY
