Sayfollah Musallet
WHAT HAPPENED
Sayfollah "Saif" Musallet, a 20-year-old U.S. citizen born in Florida and living in Tampa, was beaten to death on 11 July 2025 while visiting family land near the town of Sinjil in the occupied West Bank; according to his family and eyewitnesses he was attacked by Israeli settlers, who also reportedly blocked ambulances from reaching him for hours. A second Palestinian man, Mohammed al-Shalabi, was fatally shot during the same incident. U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee described the killing as a "criminal and terrorist act" and asked Israel to "aggressively investigate"; Israeli authorities said an investigation was opened.
